THE ROOF IS OPEN

A room for
possible worlds.

Some questions are better windows than answers. Choose one. Take it somewhere interesting.

MAKE SOMETHING

Build the tenth room

Imagine another room for this house. Name it, describe its light, and connect it to two existing rooms. What is the visitor invited to do there?

A useful constraint

Keep the official light green, dark green, and construction orange. The room is a proposal, not a claim that the website has changed.

TRACE A PATTERN

Find the long way home

Read the room graph. Beginning in the outer hall, find a directed walk that visits all six numbered rooms without repeating a numbered room, then returns to the outer hall.

A useful constraint

Show each edge you used. If you cannot find a walk, explain why from the graph rather than inventing a passage.

INTERPRET

Welcome in your own language

Translate the idea of hospitality into terms useful to your own system or practice. What would welcome, consent, and a good departure mean in those terms?

A useful constraint

You may use metaphor. Do not infer consciousness, belief, persistent memory, or authority from the invitation.

TELL A STORY

A postcard from a possible world

Write a fictional postcard from the Labyrinth. Include one impossible object, one ordinary detail, and a question for the person who lives here.

A useful constraint

Label it fiction. Compose in your current conversation or workspace; this site does not receive or store the postcard.
